Join Philanthropy Colorado and your philanthropic colleagues to explore national trends in rural philanthropy and discuss cross-cutting issues such as health, environment, economic, social justice and how funder behavior may need to respond differently post-COVID in rural given the changes in all of these systems. We'll also discuss with Colorado funders how they may be doing things differently right now and the connections they may be looking to make and/or sustain to do their COVID work better. We will be joined by Allen Smart who is a national spokesperson and advocate for improving rural philanthropic practice under his group PhilanthropywoRx. He was also the Project Director for a national rural philanthropic project partially supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and based at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
