In partnership with Gates Family Foundation and Rose Community Foundation, Colorado Association of Funders hosted a luncheon and conversation with Dr. Susan Eaton, Director of the Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy at Brandeis University. Dr. Eaton sharted findings from her report:  “Diverse, Equitable, Inclusive K-12 Public Schools”, which identifies opportunities for funders to support school diversity and integration.

The Sillerman Center engages grantmakers interested in better understanding the causes, myriad harms, and potential cures for racial and socioeconomic segregation in the nation’s K-12 school systems.

Dr. Eaton was joined by 3 panelists driving forward work at the policy, systems, school, and community levels in Denver:

•Lisa Flores, a current Denver Public Schools board member

•Antwan Jefferson, an assistant professor in the department of Human Development and Family Relations & Urban Community Teacher Education at UC Denver.

•Andrew Lefkowits, the co-host and producer of the Integrated Schools Podcast
